Phase 1
of our Ongoing Program is the perfect starting point for students to explore the magical and one-of-a-kind world of puppeteering.
Through a focused 4-class introduction, meeting once a week, students are introduced to the fundamentals of puppetry, drama, character development, voice work, and creative expression.
This phase is designed to build confidence, spark imagination, encourage teamwork, and provide a fun and engaging introduction to the art of bringing puppet characters to life.
As students continue beyond Phase 1, they will have the opportunity to develop more advanced puppetry and performance skills, participate in live puppet performances, and grow as confident, expressive Puppeteer Performers!
OVERALL GOAL FOR FOUR CLASSES
By the end of the 4 sessions, students will:
*Understand Puppeteering Concepts Basic
*Learn to operate a simple Muppet-Style Puppet
*Perform a short, simple scene
*Feel confident, creative, and excited to continue
